Of the previous 57 iterations of the Big Game, “tails” has won more often than not, with 30 (or 52.6%) of those flips landing on that side of the coin to 27 (37.4%) for “heads.”
It’s also worth noting that of the Super Bowl champs since 2014, only one has won the pregame coin toss, while 25 of the first 57 teams to win the big game (or 43.9%) have won the pregame toss.
