Chiefs Fans Among Most Obsessed In NFL
It seems safe to say fans of the Chiefs share a year-round devotion to the franchise, based on their responses to the questions asked in the survey.
Kansas City fans wound up in a tie for 10th, alongside the 49ers and Broncos, with 24% of respondents saying they didn’t want to imagine their lives without the Chiefs, while 23% said the Chiefs made up part of their daily lives. League-wide, Chiefs fans finished behind the Giants, whose fans had an average positive response of 24%.
It’s no surprise Kansas City ranks within the Top 10, as the Chiefs playoff chances show them as favorites to repeat as Super Bowl champs.
Bears fans had the highest overall percentages, while the Bills finished second. The only other AFC West team to make the top-10 in the league was the Broncos.
The league’s “second season” continues Thursday as the NFL Draft comes to Union Station in Kansas City. And fans visiting for the festivities figure to sneak across the border to take advantage of Kansas sports betting promos.
