Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Toughest Stretches: Eras Tour and NFL Season

Fact Checked by Nate Hamilton

The unprecedented potential of having a “three-peat” in the NFL is only matched by the pop culture phenomena that is the metaphysical connection between one of the game’s best pass-catchers and a pop star with nearly two decades of cultural clout.

That’s exactly what faces the Kansas City Chiefs and their future Hall of Fame tight end Travis Kelce in 2024, though, as the former looks to play a key role in the Chiefs Super Bowl odds and their third straight championship while the latter hopes to stay in Taylor Swift’s good graces through the season.

With the Chiefs looking at a preseason win total over/under of 11.5 and the second-lowest Super Bowl odds of any team (+600, behind the San Francisco 49ers at +550), it looks like the former might be off to a solid start, while we’ll know more about the latter as the fall progresses.

Season two of the Taylor Swift x Travis Kelce Experience will be premiering August 10 – but how difficult will it be for Taylor to make it to Travis’ games? BetKansas.com broke from Kansas sports betting updates and looked at the schedule for the Kansas City Chiefs, compared it to Swift’s tour dates, and measured the distance between the two lovers to see what the toughest stretches will be.

How Many Chiefs Games Will Swift Make in 2024?

While Swift has become well-known for her jet-setting ways, it seems like over/under on the total number of games that the pop star will make in 2024 is 9.5, with 10 K.C. games falling on dates when the singer isn’t on tour.

Those dates include the Chiefs’ games against the Baltimore Ravens (Sept. 5 at home), Cincinnati Bengals (Sept. 15 at home), Atlanta Falcons (Sept. 22 on the road), Los Angeles Chargers (Sept. 29 on the road), New Orleans Chiefs (Oct. 7 at home), Denver Broncos (Nov. 10 at home), Las Vegas Raiders (Nov. 29 at home), Cleveland Browns (Dec. 15 on the road), Houston Texans (Dec. 21 at home) and Pittsburgh Steelers (Dec. 25 on the road).

Throw in overlapping dates with the least amount of distance between the two stars, in the 69-mile gap between the Chiefs’ Nov. 17 road game against the Buffalo Bills and Swift’s show in Toronto and the 452-mile split between Kelce’s contest against the Indianapolis Colts at home on Nov. 4 and Swift’s show in Indianapolis that night and you have a full picture of the wild card opportunities for Swift to increase her NFL game total for the league year ahead.
